I bought this version for more $ as I was concerned about comments about the plastic vs metal nut. I knew that my tablet would be heavier so I opted for this one. I'm glad I did. The nut is still hard to tighten enough to completely lock the position, but it does NOT just flop around. It stays in place pretty well.

It is quite sturdily made and fits into my controller excellently. It was just what I needed to fly with a larger screen.

I like the fact that this holder is built to last, and when folded up it is small enough to carry easily with my Mavic Air!
This is a solid product built with the user in mind. This is not all cheap plastic although it does have some plastic parts.

The sturdy metal base fits well and easily into the Mavic Air holder. The Ipad holder has a nice sturdy spring slide that makes my Ipad fit snugly into it!

This is a good product at a reasonable price and I strongly recommend it if you want to use something a bit larger than just your cell phone!

Yes... I would by this again, but because this is build so well, I doubt I will need to!

Pro's: the holder fits in the remote control and the metal plate adds stability when setting the remote control on a table even with a 10" tablet. The lanyard to put around your neck is a must to free up your hands. The metal nut ring holds the tablet in any position, even when walking around. It also should not break from over tightening like the plastic nuts do. Cons: This mount holder was almost $10 more than the same holder with a plastic nut ring. It also doesn't come with a cable to connect to the Mavic Air, which is needed since the Remote Control cable is too short. Be sure to order one. Summary: Overall, this is mount holder with a metal nut is something that should have come with the Mavic Air. Once you use it, you'll won't go back to putting a phone into the remote control. Definitely recommend it to anyone with a DJI drone.

The new iPad Pro 11 inch fits

Ok peeps, please say which device you are using this for including the size when placing your review. The iPad Pro 11 inch will fit in this holder. It’s so massive and I haven’t used it yet but I tried it out and I’m pretty excited about my next flight.

From a durability standpoint, this product seems nicely made. The small bag it comes with helps me package it up in my existing Mavic case so that’s nice. You will need an adapter cable as the stock DJI adapters will not reach.

Word of caution, be careful when putting your iPad in this product because an iPad Pro costs almost $1000 bucks and you can’t put 100% faith in a $27 product to keep it safe. It’s a tight fit as other reviews say and someone even said the product broke their screen. Yeah right..... The reviewer broke his own screen by not being careful. There are other tablet holders out there without lanyards and having a lanyard is a must when using this adapter.

Also, the braided adapter cable that Amazon linked to this product fits so tight into the Mavic remote that it could easily break the port. Know that DJI remote ports are poorly made and break all the time.

I was concerned about reviews of similiar products with tablets flopping around and the locking nut cracking so I spent a couple bucks more and get this one. It is rocksolid. It moves when I want it to move and stays put otherwise. I also needed the lanyard so this one came with it. It is what I would call a medium-duty grade nylon that is not padded so take it for what it is. Two or three flights at a time it does not bother my skin however I have read reviews from others that they found it irritating. While it does cover the screen of the controller, it is very well-balanced. As you can see from the photo, I can set it down on a table and it does not topple over. That’s pretty important to me while I’m flying as the weight is very well-balanced in my hands. Your mileage may vary. It folds up nicely and comes in a small pouch. Very satisfied.

Cable.....the right angle lightning cable dji provides is too short to reach a mini. Order longer on amazon. 6” or 12” based on how you want to mount the screen. Utube gives a link.
Expandability.......I like landscape view. Plus I like my ultra thin mini 4 case. This product onlty allows for one or the other. Oh! For another 1/4” expandability.

I was using my Mavic Air controller with my iPhone SE which has a pretty small screen. I decided my fat fingers were pushing wrong buttons and that's not a good thing when my brand-new drone is 200 feet in the air. So I decided to convert my iPad Mini to my monitor to use with the controller and decided this Skyreat holder would be the trick. It is perfect. It's well made and everything fits. I did have to buy a USB to iPad connector (which I also ordered at the same time from Skyreat). Having the neck strap is an added bonus. It really helps to have that little bit of support. I definitely recommend this product. Great dollar value. Mine didn't come with any sort of instructions but it's pretty easy to figure out once you look at the pictures. And, what little assembly it takes is all of one minute or two.
