I just renewed my 1-year data plan for the third time. I use this with my Phantom drones for tracking and recovery, and on one occasion, the Trackimo led me to where my drone had flown away and crashed. Recovery of that expensive drone has already paid for the Trackimo several times over.

Wanted a GPS tracker so if my Corvette was stolen I could track it. Trackimo unit is very small, and hidden below the carpet in the back and hooked to the battery via a fuse circuit would be ideal. Note that in this car the battery is in the back of the car. Received unit, hooked it to a usb port on my computer to originally charge it, and once charged set it outside for an hour under a clear sky to activate it. Brought it back in, installed it off the fuse circuit in the Corvette fuse box, and turned it on. Bottom line: Trackimo showed the unit was eleven miles east and south of my house. Further, the unit apparently died as it would not then respond to any button push, and would not correct the original location of eleven miles away. Contacted customer service. Useless single response. Returned the unit - will not order another.

Often it gives the message "Device is not communicating", but just keep trying until it finds a gps location. It may be better in a big city. For the size of the unit, the battery lasts well - about 4 days before a recharge is due.
