My case did come with a rather strong odor. Keep it away from your your wife for a few days, because she'll say something like, "What is that horrible smell, have you been gluing stuff together again?" The odor is DMA which is a promoter used to accelerate the curing of Vinyl Ester and Polyester Resins. The case has been heat formed in a mold and is very light and stiff. It is very strong for it's weight. The smell goes away after a few days.
Zipper is quality.
the little mesh pouch has velcro on the end of it that "grabs" onto the upper part of the case. Enough space for the power adapter, HDMI and USB cables.
For now this is a quality purchase. Bought this June 14th and showed up one week later (June 21) from China. Fast free shipping.
ONE THING TO NOTE: the inside has a HORRIBLE "burnt" kind of smell. It's probably form the die or some manufacturing process. it NEEDS TO AIR OUT overnight!!! :) One star off because of that.

Next was the reported issue about power button... I tried to make the case turn on the goggles, no matter how I put the goggles in the case. Even pressing in from the outside was not able to depress the power button not even once let alone the double press required to turn the goggles on. First, the button is close to the bottom curve of the case so you can't even force it in enough unless you treat them like an 800lb gorilla. Next, the goggle itself is raised around the actual power button so power on by the case is a big no way, at least for my DJI RE Goggles.
The mesh storage area in the upper portion of the case holds everything that came with my goggles plus reading glasses and a pok samich.
The case will fit perfectly inside my carry on luggage which is what I bought it for because I don't want to take the goggles apart and put them back in the box they came in. I am confident that you could put a 45lb plate on this case and it would not collapse.
I am completely satisfied with my purchase... great price + great product + perfect fit= me so happy ;~)

However, it all changed today when I had the thought: I wonder if I could fit the Mavic inside this case WITH the goggles?
After a little experimentation, I was able to fit EVERYTHING inside this goggles case!
Everything fit snugly, with no force or pressure that would cause concern (the rubber face piece on the goggles gets pressed in by the drone itself a little, and may cause the rubber to not return to it's position if stored for a long time like this).
So here's everything I was able to fit and how I did it:
Goggles, obviously.
Mavic (inside the optional Mavic sleeve) positioned underneath the headband, right up against the rubber face piece.
The RC (with joystick protector), on top of the Mavic, tucked underneath the very top of the headband.
One battery in the Mavic, 2nd battery on it's side between Mavic and rear of headband, 3rd battery inside the lid's netting.
4 way battery charge hub, on top of Mavic and 2nd battery.
Charger, power adapters, cords, ND filters, SD cards, and spare props; all in lid's netting along with the 3rd battery.
Pictures included for proof :)
I did not include the car charger as I never use it, but now I have 1 case that carries the Mavic and ALL of it's accessories I use :D
